La Robe/La Chambre

I love wearing black the most but I also do love color.

I have quite a collection of Three Floor dresses and I adore the style of modern femininity. The pastel and bright colors, lace and pleats.

The dress came first and it was the inspiration for the palette of my bedroom.

I decorated the room with these elements in mind—water, trees, light, creatures, and stars

This is my sanctuary. Once I found the perfect Michele Armas print, to set the blue and green tone, everything else just fell into place.

My own enchanted secret forest—the mirrors like water reflect the neat objects in the room.

I also wanted the decoration to be convertible by season. Our mood and taste change by season. I wanted to be able to affect the ambiance by switching a few objects—like the hanging ornaments on the tree, or planters, or hanging accessory from the ceiling.

The upper mid-air of a room is a space that’s often ignored which can be accented with unexpected hanging ornaments. They are not just for Christmas.

Also I wanted draw the eyes to the ceiling for a sense of height. People usually don’t use all that empty space available right above their head for decorating.
