Three Floor Dress: Pretty in Pink

“I put the lace over my eyes and saw the world filtered through the fragile stencil of flowers and leaves.”

-“Pearl’s Labyrinth,” unpublished novel

What girly girl wouldn’t love lace? Even if you’re goth, you got to like black lace. Lace is so romantic yet naughty. It’s transparency with distraction. It would be completely sheer if not for the patterns that both reveal and cover the skin. My body becomes the background for the shadow play of the delicate fabric.

This was one of the first Three Floor dresses I bought—could not resist the feminine pink. It’s red softened from passionate to demure. Always feeling pretty in pink and/or lace.
